First, invest in a good eyeliner - I recommend Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Liner. It's 拢4.99, and that little bottle lasts ages :) It has a good applicating brush too.

If you're putting it on your eyelid, start on the inside and slowly sweep to the outside of you eyelid. Don't worry if you make the line thicker than intended.

Fix your mistakes. Use a make-up remover wipe, or a cotton bud with make up remover on it to carefully wipe off excess eyeliner.

If you're applying it on the bottom lip, apply it just above your lower lashes, but no on the inside of the lip or it'll go into the water line and sting a bit. Start on the inside and work out the way, again taking your time and wiping off any excess.

You WILL get better the more you do it, so persevere :) Once you've mastered it, it will be a piece of cake.Tips/ Advice for applying liquid eyeliner?
i find it a lot easier to apply liquid liner when you have something to trace, cause it's hard to just do it freehand if you're not used to it. So get a pencil liner in the same color as your liquid liner and put that on first, and then just trace over it with the liquid liner once you have it the way you want it to look.

it helps because it gives you a guideline to follow so its not as hard to apply, but also, giving it a base coat (the pencil liner) will make it last longer throughout your day :]
the best eyeliner ive used it Rimmel Exaggerate, the colour stays true all day and it NEVER smudges. an i wear it everyday, also the applicator makes it so easy an precise to apply!

tilt ur head back, pull ur eyelid out to the side slightly then starting at the inner corner draw a smooth line across getting slightly thicker as the line goes along. if u cant draw one smooth line do small dashes then join them together, with liquid liner-practice makes perfect! u cant expect it to go great the first few times but after a while it gets easy! i use to take ages tryna get both eyes the same and the line perfect an it'd still look odd! but now it takes me no time atall!

i dont wear this much eyeliner anymore, its way too much lol. but im jus showin u how i use to do it:

i wear it like this now, using that Rimmel Eyeliner on my upper lashline, white pencil liner on my waterline, curl lashes and use lengthening mascara (L'oreal Telescopic) really makes eyes open an bright:

What ever you do, do not stretch your eyelied taut, this will cause a wrirkled line instead of smooth. Try a felt, (inkwell eyeliner like ULTA) don't go with black if you are light skined.
liquid eyeliner looks good with the ';winged'; eyeliner look
Rest your elbow on a shelf or something similar where you can see the mirror so that you get an even line rather than a shaky freehand one.
if it's gona go on your eyelid:

do a medium thick line

then with a wet q-tip fix it to how you want it before it dries
Use the ones that have an applicator like a felt tip pen. The brush ones are very tricky. Or maybe I'm just useless!!
uhmmm...take ur time, it takes getting used too. dont put it on ur inner lids on the bottom. stay close to the lash line
wear it on the inside rims ...it looks way better
Be patient!
