New to Cloth Diapering. Any advice/tips?

I've recently started my daughter on cloth diapers. She is 4 months old. It's been going quite well. For anyone who has experience, do you have any helpful tips/suggestions?

And please, if you have any that may help make it easier for her Daddy to cope with, I'd definitely appreciate it as well!

Thanks!New to Cloth Diapering. Any advice/tips?
I cloth diapered my first. I'm currently pregnant with my second, and I definitely plan on doing the same.

My husband HATED the cloth diapers. It just wasn't his cup of tea to attempt to shake off all of the ';substances'; on the cloth diaper into the toilet or ';dunking'; them, or even having to wash them...

It's kind of complicated, I guess. We have a specific pail where we were put the cloth diapers (next to the average trash can in the bathroom). We keep a pail liner in there, and wash it with the diapers whenever we wash them. It is kind of tedious though, the whole cold water, can only use certain products, all of that stuff... You don't want to use a hot water wash first, because that would bake in the stains. The detergent can't have any whitening or color brightening substances, so it requires a lot of label reading to find the right one (we used something called Sun powder). I usually did a cold cycle, then a hot cycle.

Best of luck! I really loved cloth diapers, actually. Our daughter potty trained really fast, and I'm sure we saved a lot of money.New to Cloth Diapering. Any advice/tips?
Check out the diapers that I use : Happy Heiny one size. My husband will change the diapers no problem... usually I stuff them first so he just has to put in on. I do that same thing for daycare.

My husband used to leave the poopy dipes for me to deal with until I got a diaper sprayer :) Now he has fun spraying off the poopy and I have actually caught my husband knelled down at the toilet with our son ';teaching'; him how to clean the dipe (pretty cute)
When you wash them always use white vinegar in the first rinse cycle.

Doing this helps break down the soap residue and will also soften the diaper. And being softer will help it absorb more/easier.
I'm new to cloth too. What kind are you using? pockets? prefolds? AIO?
