No. They are expensive to insure and maintain.
If you talk your parents into buying it anyways I'll answer your future question.
Yes they are expensive to fix, yes your parents will find out you wrecked it, and yes your insurance will go up.I was thinking of buying an Audi A3 as my first car, any tips or advice....?
That was my first car, i loved it, ive allways been an Audi fan, there just so good! A3 is a good model to start with, i now have an Q7, my A3 lasted 5 years, and thats roughly how long most of my cars have lasted(either that or i just got bored of them and started finding things that were wrong with it on purpose!)my advice: GO FOR IT! youll regret it if you dont!I was thinking of buying an Audi A3 as my first car, any tips or advice....?
Nobody here nows what they are talking about. An A3 is clearly a better car in any ways than the focus. I suggest you get the A3 sportsback 2.0 liter which gives you plenty of power and 5 doors. This will give a relatively cheap insurance as well. Hope this helps.
Yes go for it. Ive got a 2009 Audi A3 Sport in White as my first car and I love it. Im 17 and insurance is a bomb (0ver 拢3000). Make sure that you can get insured though first, as I struggled to get some quotes back...
Audi are pretty quick car and stylish also if you really want to know more about the A3 check this site out

Join that forum - loads of Audi specialists there and very helpful too
TT driver!
Have you priced insurance yet?
I personally don't really rate the A3, it's just a posh Golf underneath the skin, and many other cars are a better drive, Ford Focus included.
You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here - carinsurance.yoll.net
Audi is very expensive for a first car. Can you afford the payments? your insurance will be high too. Oh and they are expensive to maintain.
you must have some wedge in your sky rocket to afford one of them as a first car but seriously it,s an Audi they are built to last and sexy little beasts as well
I'd suggest you type audi forum into a search. That way you will have a web site full of audi owners to answer your questions.
Nice car but how old is it? Parts and service can be expensive and also insurance dependant upon your age.
You will need the same amount of money that your paying for the car to Insure it.
insurance is stupidly expensive,
if i were you i would get a golf or an alfa!
get more experience on the road 1st with a cheaper car like a corsa unless you have money to burn,
get ready to pay alot in maintanence. if its over 50K miles, you're gonna wish you never bought it.
Insurance is very high.
So unless you are rich.....don't.
