thje same school frm last year..really nervous and excitedStarting 7th grade any tips/advice plzz help..?
Ah seventh grade was sooo fun!! I'm starting high school though.
I know exactly how you feel about the knowing no one. I went to a different district then none of my 6th grade friends.
First of all, about the friends, everyone is shy the first days, know one knows who to hangout with, and who to talk to, who to make first impressions on. If you keep a bright smile, people might want to talk to you. Everyone knows that a person who is out going can be annoying, but there is different types of out going, here's the good way...
Smile, laugh(not to loud) Be random, sounds crazy but people love humor. Be confident, everyone likes a person that knows there stuff, and who they are. Again, be yourself.
There really is nothing scary about 8th graders, their conceded and think there better than everyone. When really your just as good as they are.
Classes, they change soo much. Instead of one class with everyone, there's a variety of people in your class. Most of them go::
1st period
2nd period(advisory)
3rd period
4th period
(maybe 1st lunch)
5th period
(second lunch)
6th 7th and 8th.
Lunches:: Now instead of the whole school going into one big lunch, its divided into 2 lunches depending on where your class room is.
1st lunch is usually after 4th period. While the people who don't have lunch go to 5th period. When the 1st lunch is over, the 2nd lunch happens. which means, the 1st lunch people go to their 5th period while the 2nd lunch eats.
Then everyone goes back to 6th period.
Clothes:: Some schools have uniforms or certain colors, if you dont then keep it simple, don't do a Sharpay off HSM cause people will think your lame and trying to hard.

Be friendly, positive. Standup for what's right. Always achieve to the top. Mind your own Business. Make friends. Your gonna need a cell phone. (I never had one though) And don't piss off the older grades, cause once in the 8th grade these cocky sonsofbitches 7th grades thought they were hot stuff and started bullshit. They said they could beat us up, and when we showed up, they backed away. Hated those fuckers.
well from my experience. .starting high school i nothing really.. its not really different just new classes timetables etc.. you just give your self some time and you will adjust to it :)
soo you dont really need help you will do fine on your own =]
