Im considering islam and im 15, and i was wondering if any muslims have tips, advice, etc?

remember im not making a commitment here im just ';considerig'; joiningIm considering islam and im 15, and i was wondering if any muslims have tips, advice, etc?
Is Muhammad a prophet of God and his Qu'ran the word of God?

According to the Qu'ran Muhammad is a prophet of God and meets with the angel Gabriel and receives revelation from him. The god Allah is supposed to be the God of Abraham.

Can any of this be true?

The God of Abraham has directed his people to test a spirit and a prophet of God to be sure they were not false prophets.

Did Muhammad test this spirit to be sure it was from God?

According to the Qu'ran Muhammad was instructed by Gabriel that if he had any doubts about this revelation he should speak with those who read previous scriptures.

This would surely mean that the scriptures from God agree with the Qu'ran at this time of Muhammad.

The Bible says they absolutely have to be in agreement with the word of God and the previous prophets of God.

Now let's see what Muhammad would have found had he had done as instructed both by God and by this unproved spirit.

Deut.13: 1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,

2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;

3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

A prophet of God must be in agreement with the words of the prophets and the known word of God.

1John 2: 22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

1John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

Anyone who claims to be a prophet of God must agree Jesus is the Christ the Son of God who is our Savior.

2 John 1:7 For many deceivers

are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist

Gal. 1: 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

If an angel or a man preach a different gospel he is not of God.

Should I continue?

We can see here that the supposed imposter spirit Gabriel contrary to what he siad was not a spirit from God and the revelation he was sharing was not in agreement with the word of God.

We can also see by these scriptures Muhammad was not in agreement with the previous word of God nor the prophets and could not be a prophet of God.

What would be Islam's answer to such a glaring problem?

You and I both know the answer to this question.

Islam contradicts the Qu'ran and calls the word of God corrupt.

If this were true and it is impossible you have a myriad of problems.

1) How to test a prophet or a spirit with corrupt scriptures.

Not only Muhamamd could be a prophet but so could anyone in the world simply write yourself a book and call the word of God garbage.

2)The Qu'ran itself says the word of God can't be changed and that the Qu'ran is a continuation of these previous scriptures and advises Muhammad to check with those who read previous scriptures.

Muhamamd even according to the Qu'ran could not be a prophet of God nor the Qu'ran the word of God.

3) Could Allah be the God of Abraham as he claims?

Is Allah in agreement with the righteousness of God?

From the beginning of the Torah, God warns Adam to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil or he will surely die.

Satan, called the serpent, lies and tells Eve you will not surely die.

God does not weigh sin. The wages of sin is death from the beginning of the word of God to the end of his written word.

God could not change his mind and agree with Satan.

It is the reason man needs Jesus and the reason the Son became flesh.

What was the first lie Satan gave to man? You will not surely die. God is not a righteous God and you can make another deal

My Muslim friend Satan is again telling the original lie.

Sin does equal death there are no lessers sins and God does not weigh sin and you can't earn salvation.

Salvation is a free gift no man can require it from God.

God is a righteous God and he will not be joined to sin.

God has provided a way for his people to be rejoined to him for eternal life and this is through the Son who became flesh.

The Son became flesh because sin does equal death.

Look around you my friend all men sin and all men die.

The Son came to the world to overcome temptation as a man under law.

Jesus remained perfect even the Qu'ran says he is perfect.

Overcoming temptation, sin and death for all who accept the atonement he provides them.

Should I continue?

Thus far it should be obvious.

1) Muhamamd could not be a prophet of God

2) Allah could not be the righteous God of Abraham.

3) The Qu'ran could not be the true word of God.Im considering islam and im 15, and i was wondering if any muslims have tips, advice, etc?
';remember im not making a commitment here im just ';considerig'; joining';

at this ';considering'; moment, you should read a lot about Islam from the authentic source, like Quran, hadith, meet good islamic scholar, make prayer to the Almighty Allah

You should be ready to sacrifice a lot, like if you are alcoholic, shun it, stop eating pork, etc
Sorry to butt in but I strongly feel that this is age when one should be planning and working hard on education to choose a worth while profession unless of course you have already made up your mind to be one of the manual or skilled labour like a motor mechanic, electrician, plumber and the like.In that case,I don't think it matters to any body what religion you choose.Take your pick.
Why bother consider a religion, you should try atheism as for one: It makes more sense and two it allows you to have an open mind to try new things instead of being brainwashed by lies unless of course your into worshiping fairy-tales, then by all means be my guest.

Edit: Were insecure losers because we chose not to believe in things that have no proof to back it up. We athiest use logic and reasoning to find real answers to life while people like you go by a book written by someone who smoked to much pot one day.

BTW: I used to be a christian til I grew wise and chose to find real answers instead of being a brainwashed little child that the church wanted me to be.
Islam is the best thing, that could have happen to the world.

When a Guy marries a woman, he has to feed her and take care of her, as he does to himself and his father and mother.

He has to give equal share of everything he has, to his wife.

When we walk on streets, we are suppose to bow down our gaze and not to look at any women.

Any sort of relationship with a woman, that is beside marriage, for a guy with a girl is not permitted which results in very low cases of torture, rape, flirt, dumping and likewise.

A guy caught for raping, is sentenced to 200 lashes and 10 years of Jail.

That is just a 1% of Islam's respect to women.. it can go On n On...

Dear,

I can see your 'spiritual journey' have taken place. And the innermost instinc now guiding you on the most important quest of your life. It may take you weeks or the whole life. I've been through it. But it is the most rewarding quest that you'll ever took.

Well, since you already interested in Islam, i would like to encourage you to explore the most IMPORTANT %26amp; ESSENTIAL of the faith which is ';believing that there is only one GOD';, Lailaha illaLlah. If you already believe in one GOD, you dont have to 'considering to be a muslim', just simply because you are already a muslim.

Islam, means 'to submit', muslim means 'the one who submit', to ONE GOD. That's why Islam is NOT just a religion, it is a life style of a person who submit themself to Allah. Each words from the tongue, actions of your body to the most inner whispher of your heart are bound to the love of Allah. That is why you could see, muslim praying 5 times a day and fasting the whole month of Ramadhan, making Haj to Mecca without complaining.

Would you like to know why muslims do it? Simply because of the 'sakinah' - the peaceful %26amp; joyful feeling of their soul.

May Allah bless you with 'Tawfiq' and ';Hidayaah';.. Amen
Tell you what, why not read some unbiased material. You seem to be under the spell of someone who is telling you all the good about the Islamic faith but apparently these folks aren't giving you the whole story.

Go to a website such as http://www.chick.com and see what they have to say about Islam. They have booklets you can read on line as well as excerpts from books on the topic. Read these before you cross over the line. You are open-minded, aren't you?

Considering? Then get a second opinion before you take a life-changing step such as this one.
Why would you be considering something so stupid as a religion? In your considerations make sure you consider whether god is real of not. If you can find no reason to believe a god exist you should not be in a religion. And there is not one reason to believe a god exist. People who believe in religions are delusional by the dictionary definition. Why would you want to be delusional?

If you think you have found a reason to believe god is real email me with it so I can show you why you do not have a reason. At best you will find a excuse for a reason.

If you want to chat sometime I am more than open, I found Islam when I was 15 as well.
wow...well first of all I think you should find some Muslims if you can or a nearby masjid and visit it and the people there should be more than happy to help you learn more...or you can just email me and I can answer any questions...I'm a Muslim and my dad is an Alim (scholar of islam) You can look up online about masjids near you too. cyberfalcon@ymail.com If you want to research about islam then I recommend not doing it online. Buy books or talk to people who are muslims and who are practicing it too. These days there is alot of stereotypes and badmouthing against islam so not all websites are trustworthy. Here is one that could help alot...

http://www.islamicity.com/

also I've talked to alot of people who became Muslims and most of them have people telling them and asking them why the heck they want to do something like this but you have to be firm if its what you really believe in. So first make your faith in it firm then become a Muslim. People will keep telling you that there is not good in religion and god doesnt exist and youre doing the wrong thing...but if its something you think is true and you feel it in your heart...then no should ever be able to tell you what you should think. :) May God help you on your journey to Islam (of course thats if you do! :)
Consider Christianity...it is the TRUE religion of peace.

John 14

King James Bible

1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

God bless!

or go to your local mosque.
Not surprised by the horrible preachy comments including from the atheists. I would go with googling the religion or asking a follower in real life.
Try to make muslim friends, and get to know more about Islam. Ask any questions you have from them. If at home then, read islamic books or

try listening to lectures given by Zakir naik on youtube.
consider Methodism....dont deny the trinity.
Islam is man's religion, nothing to do with God.
Talk to Christ, he's got far better plans for you in life.
