Seriously, I wish I would have taken a lot more classes that I knew would have prepared me for college.Tips/Advice for new Freshmen in High School?
Practice communicating. Ask everyone about their prior evening, a tv show. Get them to talk about themselves. They will love you for it.
carry a knife, u might need. i need it.
don't worry that much. i'm in my last year of high school so i know. if you're the quiet type, it helps to speak up a bit or the people will put impressions on you. actually high school has nothing to worry about except grades. that's the most important.
Learn to associate with the opposite sex... If I look back, I should have been more bold, more confident with myself. I never had trouble getting girls in High School, but knowing what I know now... Man~~ It could have been 10 times better. don't be all shy and reserved... be yourself!! although at that age, I doubt you fully know yourself...
Enjoy your four years in high school as much as you can. Join clubs and do sports. Don't miss a single game, homecoming, or prom. Have fun as much as you can, but stay away from troubled people and drugs and smoking it's not cute and it won't make you look cool. Don't be afraid to approach people and make new friends even if they are the most popular or whatever. Have crushes and it's ok if you get hurt sometimes. Just have funnnnnnnn but don't forget your school work and your responsibilities. You'll look at your high school years 3, 4, 5, 6,10 years after graduating and enjoy every single memory you had. So don't worry about nothing and enjoy it, you only go to high school ONCE and you'll regret it if you didn't enjoy it. Good luck.
i know that being a freshman will bring you a lot of pressure but just be your self

try hard to get A's or A's and B's, its worth it once you start filling out those college applications.

last but no least make friends! attend pep rallies...those four years go by fast.
Go around the campus first and note the locations of the buildings so that when classes begin you will not find hard in locating them. Be nice to everybody and always keep up with all the lessons, assignments and the projects. Good luck!
