I need more motivation to exercise. Any tips or advice, please?

I usually start to get into some kind of routine, but I have trouble sticking to it.I need more motivation to exercise. Any tips or advice, please?
For me motivation just wasn't the key. I used to be 100 pounds overweight and I never exercised. No way was I motivated to start. I had to look at it differently, like a job or a chore, and just set a time that I was going to do it and then get up and DO IT, no excuses, no matter what. Believe it or not, it works. (heck, I did lots of other things that I don't want to do because I have to do them, why not add exercise to the list) A year and a half later, I LOVE exercising. I look forward to it and feel like a slug if I don't do it. It's just habit now, part of my day that I enjoy. There just was no possible way that I was going to feel motivated to exercise almost every day when I had been sedentary for so long, but making it part of my routine really did the trick for me.I need more motivation to exercise. Any tips or advice, please?
i usually watch the model(show) while exercising, that works for me!!^^
look at a fat person pic every day ok
Honestly what motivates me is watching people like J.lo and Beyonce. They have beautiful bodies and I think that famous people shouldn't be the only ones with good bodies. So thats what motivates me.
I recommend this book:

';Changing for Good'; by James O. Prochaska, John Norcross, and Carlo DiClemente

This book shows the steps people go through to change themselves and gives several techniques for moving from each stage to the next. It is based on 12 years of studying people who had successfully changed themselves. The technique has been applied successfully in smoking cessation and weight loss, among other applications.

Join an exercise class at your gym.
do it with a friend.
First take one or two weeks off to recharge your body. After your ';vacation'; set specific goals and visualize how good you want to look like. Join a gym to exercise because a) it will cost you money and you will want to get your money's worth, and b) you'll get to show off your new body to other members in the gym. A cheaper way to motivate yourself is the ';6 weeks rule';. Normally if worked out consistently, the human body will produce noticable results in 6 weeks. After 6 weeks look in the mirror and if you like what you see continue exercising.
look at urself in the mirror everday and ask urself what u need to work on
i unwillingly get motivated by watching weight loss shows.. like The Biggest Loser or Honey, We're Killing The Kids!
I just joined a GREAT gym. I feel high class being there (amd I am not). We decided to drop our cable TV and instead get a membership at a Gym that has daycare, a spa, a pool for the kids etc... (it was about the same price and such a healthy change) Also to motivate me my husband I made a deal that if I work out at LEAST 4 times a week then he will pay me $20.00. I lose out on the extra cash to spend on myself if I do not work out. If you are not married, maybe try treating yourself to something that you love, but you have to stick to it and not treat yourself if you do not meet you weekly goal. You could do anything from a starbucks to a new shirt. Hope that helps! Good luck!
you need to find things you enjoy. i have the same problem. i have a heart disease so i have problems with a lot of exercising or sports and i just hate doing it now. Just recently i started getting better because the weather is nicer and i found things i love. I've been wake boarding, long boarding, and swimming a lot more and it doesn't FEEL like exercises. find something you love doing that you feel in your muscles the next day and you will have find your own form of exercise!
put a piece of candy on a stiff wire then tie the wire on to a wood pole set it on your shoulders the position the wire so that the candy hangs in front of you, now run for it, hey it worked for me!
umm well i get motivated with music maybe try that get music turn it all up n also try on any jeans or pants that fit u tight n try them on once a week that way u see the difference
