Hamster Facts, tips, advice?

I would like some facts, tips, and advice about hamsters! Also, are Syrians really good hamsters and why?

Firstly, there is no ';good'; or ';bad'; hamsters. It depends on what YOU like. I personally prefer dwarf hamsters to syrian just because I like their liveliness and small size. Some people who would like a calmer, larger hamster would prefer syrians.





Second, hamsters do not really need ';toys';. The only things they do need are wheels (which are completely solid, not wire), something to chew on (like cardboard), and lots of places to hide (like little cardboard boxes). They do nto know that their wheel is a car or whatever, it is simply a wheel. So if you want some cute toys, just walk around any pet store until you see something you like.
