Any tips/advice on clomid??

I'm on 50mg days 2-6. Any1 gt PG 1st time?? Anything i should/shouldn't do whilst on it?? Jus tips/advice thanks!!Any tips/advice on clomid??
I got pg w/my daughter on 50mg Clomid-the first month. She's now 13 years old (wow, hard to think about that!)

Hi!! I tried 3 cycles of it in 2007. It didn't work for me. I had major hot flashes while on it and trouble sleeping. I didn't ovulate the first cycle (I guess that is pretty normal) but I did on the 2nd and 3rd. I ovulated around cd 19-20 both times. I also had longer than normal cycles. I was confused by this and it caused more stress on the situation. Really there aren't any shouldn't do's while on it. My doctor told me to have intercourse every other day starting about day 10 or 11 of my cycle until about day 22. Also while I was on Clomid I tried OPK's and got 12 days in a row of positive tests. I don't think they are reliable while on Clomid. My doctor also said if Clomid is going to work it will normally work in less than 6 cycles. There is a risk of it thinning the endometrial lining of your uterus with extended use. And that will not allow proper implantation to occur. My periods were lighter while on it also. Stay positive and give it a try!!!
Currently 23 weeks pregnant with a little boy after first round of clomid. I took it as directed and tried to relax and eliminate as much stress as possible. I took it before I went to bed and took it cycle days 1-5. Good luck
