Gums bleeding, tips/advice?

I really don't like dentists and I pride myself in the fact I've never had cavities(16yr old)

Anyway, recently, I have forgotten to brush my teeth, since I've been pretty busy and I just got out of schedule, and now when I brush my teeth my gums bleed, sometimes it leaves my tooth brush almost completely red(normally its pink).

Anyway. I'm gonna start brushing again. But any tips or advice?Gums bleeding, tips/advice?
I know you don't like dentist, neither did I and I have never had even one cavity. However, if your gums are bleeding it may be a sign of periodontal disease. You need to go to the dentist. Simple brushing will not do the trick. Take it from me, I am 39 years old and am coincidentally going to have to have all my teeth pulled this coming monday because the disease took over my mouth, lost bone, loose teeth, teeth that literally fell out during my sleep. Don't let this happen to you! Go take care of your gums. if not, you will regret it.

Good luck.Gums bleeding, tips/advice?
You need to floss and get your gums healthy again. It may be an idea to also gargle and swish mouth wash to combat germs under the gums. Sterilise your toothbrush after use.
