Any tips/advice anyone?

I have a 1998 Dodge Stratus that is hard starting while cold.Only once it starts, if I turn off key and try again it starts ok. Going to replace oxygen sensor and fuel filters any advice? thanks

When you say ';hard'; do you mean slow cranking or just takes it longer to fire? Slow cranking would mean check the battery/alternator. A long time to fire up could mean several things including tuneup. When you put the key in the ignition, turn it to the ';run'; position, count to 5, turn it back off, then back to run and count to 5. Then Turn it farther for the starter to kick over. Does it fire up faster?
