Any advice or tips on removing a transmission on a 2001 chevy impala 3.8l ?

Leave that one to an experienced professional. The job can take all day for an average mechanic, someone that makes their living installing and removing transmissions can do it in an hour or two. Someone completely inexperienced will never get it done.

Not like a rear wheel drive car where anyone that can turn a wrench and basic common sense could do it!Any advice or tips on removing a transmission on a 2001 chevy impala 3.8l ?
